Technical description The XL-101a is an industrial horizontal slicing machine designed to divide cake bases, bread and other bakery products into uniform layers or slices using multiple cutting blades and a continuous conveyor system. • Model: XL-101a. • Equipment type: industrial horizontal slicer for bakery and pastry products. • Primary application: horizontal slicing of cake bases, bread and similar products. • Minimum slice thickness: 10 mm. • Indicated maximum product height: 140 mm. • Customisable cutting slots or blade positions. • Indicated standard adjustment increment: 5 mm. • Supports multiple-blade configurations according to the required number of layers or slices. • Indicated configurations with two or three blades installed simultaneously. • Indicated supply: 8 cutting blades. • Can produce several sections during a single pass. • Suitable for birthday-cake bases, full-sheet cakes, sandwich bread, toast, hamburger buns, bagels and similar products. • Conveyor system for continuous product feeding, cutting and discharge. • Side guides for product positioning on the conveyor. • Electromechanical Control Panel with push buttons. • Reference output for 8-inch, 420 g cake bases: 8 units per minute. • Reference output for 1100 g whole-tray products: 4 trays per minute. • Designed to produce uniform slices without excessive product compression. • Electrical supply: 220 V. • Power: 1.35 kW. • Net dimensions: 1693 × 854 × 1362 mm. • Net weight: 130 kg. • Gross weight: 150 kg. Commercial description The XL-101a is designed for cake factories, pastry-production facilities, industrial bakeries, central kitchens and bread manufacturers that need to divide cake bases and baked products horizontally into consistent layers. It can prepare sponge-cake layers for birthday cakes, filled cakes, multi-layer cakes and similar pastry products. It is also suitable for sandwich bread, toast, bagels, hamburger buns and other products requiring several regular slices. Products move through the machine on a conveyor and pass through cutting blades positioned at the selected height. Depending on the number of installed blades, several layers can be produced during the same pass, reducing the time required compared with cutting each section manually. The minimum slice thickness of 10 mm supports relatively thin layers, while the standard 5 mm blade-position increment allows the configuration to be adapted to different recipes and formats. The maximum product height of 140 mm accommodates cake bases and bread products of different sizes. Continuous feeding, positioning guides and multiple blades help maintain more regular slices between products. This is particularly useful for businesses that need to standardise layer height before applying fillings, cream or external coatings. The Electromechanical Control Panel avoids complex programming and supports straightforward operation. The XL-101a can be incorporated into bakery and pastry-production processes to reduce manual cutting, increase slicing speed and maintain a more consistent finished presentation.
